Postiz alternative
Posts in your voice, with nothing to host.
People look for a Postiz alternative when hosting it themselves turns into upkeep, when a connection to a network keeps failing, or when they want AI that knows how their business sounds.
Buzzmark is hosted only and starts at the same $29 a month. It reads your voice from your website, scores every draft from 0 to 100 and tells you when a post doesn't go out.
If you want open source, post to Reddit, YouTube, Mastodon or Discord, or run your posts through agents and automations, Postiz is the better tool.

Why people look for a Postiz alternative
From Postiz's own pages and from public reviews, put in our words and read on October 25, 2026. Each reason links to where we saw it.
Self-hosting is a second job
Running Postiz yourself means a web app, a database, a queue, email and a developer app for every network. Its GitHub has dozens of issues about Docker and self-hosting, and its pricing page says new agent features reach the hosted version first.

Connections that fail
People report posts and connections failing on single networks, on GitHub and on Trustpilot. Open issues from October 2026 alone cover posts with images, Instagram Business sign-in and Facebook Page connections. Many of the reports come from people hosting it themselves.
AI tuned per platform, not per business
Postiz's home page says its AI writes hooks, captions and threads tuned for each platform. It says nothing about reading your website or learning how your business sounds.

What to look for in a replacement
Whatever you move to, check these before you leave Postiz. They follow from the reasons above.
Nothing to maintain
Updates, network connections and fixes should be the tool's job. If you're leaving self-hosting behind, count the hours it took you and price those too.
Connections that hold, and a word when they don't
Ask how the tool finds out a post failed, whether it tells you, and whether you can try again from the post.
AI that knows the business
An AI that writes well in general still has to learn how you sound. Ask what it reads first: your website, your products, your past posts.
Room for the people and channels you have
Count your channels and everyone who'll touch them, and price the plan that fits both.
Where Buzzmark fits
Nothing to host
Buzzmark is a hosted product. Network connections, updates and fixes are ours to run, and you sign in from any browser.
Told when a post fails
Each Buzz shows what every platform did with it. A post that fails can be retried or rescheduled from the post itself, and an email can tell you when it happens.
Your voice from your website
Buzzmark reads your site and brings back your tone, the words you use and your products. A business that has hardly posted still gets its own voice on day one.
Every draft is checked
Each Buzz gets a Hive check, a score from 0 to 100 for how much it sounds like you, and phrasing that gives machine-written text away is rewritten before you see it.
Where it doesn't, yet
- Reddit, YouTube, Pinterest, Mastodon, Discord and the rest of Postiz's 35 networks. Buzzmark posts to 6, with Google Business and Reddit coming soon.
- Open source and self-hosting. Buzzmark is hosted only.
- AI video. Buzzmark writes posts and makes pictures. Video you film yourself posts on every plan.
- Seats and approvals. They're coming soon: 5 seats on Reach and unlimited on Scale. Today an account is one person.
Moving from Postiz, network by network
Postiz's networks, sorted by what happens to each when you move. There's nothing to export: you sign in to each account in Buzzmark, and posts already scheduled in Postiz stay there to go out as planned.

Your first day
Paste your website
The Hive reads it and brings back your tone, the words you use and your products. You correct anything it read wrong.
Connect your accounts
Sign in to each one. A social set keeps a brand's accounts, voice and clock together.
Plan the first week
Buzz drafts the week into your best times. Nothing goes out until you schedule it.
Run both for a week
Let Postiz's queue run out while Buzz drafts your first week, then switch off what you no longer need.
When to stay with Postiz
The same list as on our comparison. If one of these is you, Postiz is the better tool for now.
- You post to networks Buzzmark doesn't reach yet, such as YouTube, Reddit, Pinterest or Discord.
- You want to host the software yourself, or need to read its code.
- Your posts are driven by agents or automations (n8n, Make), and a person only reviews.
- You need AI video.

Every plan, side by sideLeaving Postiz: questions
Postiz has a hosted version of its own, from $29 a month. Buzzmark is hosted only, from the same $29, and writes in the voice it reads from your website. If self-hosting was the only problem, try Postiz's own hosted plan too.
Not yet. Google Business and Reddit are next, and YouTube, Pinterest and Bluesky are planned. If you need them today, Postiz has them.
Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and any MCP app connect on every plan, and can draft, check and schedule posts. Nothing publishes without a time you can see. There's no public API yet.
No. Buzzmark is a hosted product from Piik Labs AB.
