Later alternative

Posts in your voice, on X as well as Instagram.

People look for a Later alternative when a yearly plan renews and the refund is refused, when support sits behind a chatbot, or because Later stopped posting to X in August 2025.

Buzzmark posts to X, threads included, next to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Threads and TikTok. It writes each post in the voice it reads from your website and scores every draft from 0 to 100, from $29 a month.

If Instagram and TikTok are your main channels and the grid's look matters, or you need a link in bio, Pinterest or Snapchat, Later is the better tool.

Why people look for a Later alternative

From Later's own pages and from public reviews, put in our words and read on November 5, 2026. Each reason links to where we saw it.

  1. Renewals and refused refunds

Later scores 1.4 on Trustpilot from 352 reviews. About 72 of the 100 most recent one- and two-star reviews describe a renewal or charge they didn't expect and a refund that was refused. Later's pricing page says yearly plans renew automatically.

  2. Support behind a chatbot

About half of those reviews say they couldn't reach a person, and on Capterra most mentions of support speed are negative. Later's pricing page says questions go in through its chatbot, with answers by email.

  3. No more X

Later stopped supporting X on August 28, 2025. A few reviews say they lost it in the middle of a paid plan, with no credit.

  4. Caps, and features a plan up

Starter caps posts at 30 per profile a month, with 5 AI credits. The inbox, approvals and best times across profiles start at Growth. On G2, publishing limits and missing features are among the cons tagged most often.

What to look for in a replacement

Whatever you move to, check these before you leave Later. They follow from the reasons above.

  • Renewal terms in writing

Know when a yearly plan renews, whether you get a reminder first, and what the refund rule is.

  • A person when you need one

Ask how you reach someone, and how fast, before the day a post goes missing.

  • Every network you post to

Check each network is supported today, and how the tool tells you when one is about to go.

  • Room to post

Count your posts a month per profile, and what the AI includes, on the plan you'd buy.

Where Buzzmark fits

  • X as well

Threads, polls, auto-repost and auto-plug on X, next to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Threads and TikTok.

  • No post caps

Posting and scheduling are unlimited on every plan, and Growth writes 75 Buzz a month in your voice. Later's Starter has 30 posts per profile and 5 AI credits.

  • Every draft is checked

Each Buzz gets a Hive check, a score from 0 to 100 for how much it sounds like you, and phrasing that gives machine-written text away is rewritten before you see it.

  • A trial that says what happens

7 days free for new users, with $0 due today. Nothing is charged until day 8, and cancelling before then costs nothing.

Where it doesn't, yet

  • A link in bio page.
  • A preview of your Instagram grid.
  • Pinterest, YouTube Shorts and Snapchat. Buzzmark doesn't post there yet; Google Business and Reddit are coming soon.
  • Seats and approvals. They're coming soon: 5 seats on Reach and unlimited on Scale. Today an account is one person.

Moving from Later, network by network

Later's networks, sorted by what happens to each when you move. There's nothing to export: you sign in to each account in Buzzmark, and posts already scheduled in Later stay there to go out as planned.

Your first day

  1. Paste your website

The Hive reads it and brings back your tone, the words you use and your products. You correct anything it read wrong.

  2. Connect your accounts

Sign in to each one. A social set keeps a brand's accounts, voice and clock together.

  3. Plan the first week

Buzz drafts the week into your best times. Nothing goes out until you schedule it.

  4. Move your link in bio first

Later's link in bio goes when your plan does. Set up the page you'll use next, and change the link in your profiles, before you cancel.

When to stay with Later

The same list as on our comparison. If one of these is you, Later is the better tool for now.

  • Instagram and TikTok are your main channels, and how the grid looks matters.
  • You need a link in bio page.
  • You post to Pinterest or Snapchat.
  • You plan to run influencer campaigns as well.
